Sugarlops is an ARPG (Art Role-Playing Game) that takes place in the fantasy world of bunny-like beings with a cute sugary theme.
Here you can collect characters and participate in the world through your own art and writing! All skill levels of artists and writers are welcome here.
You can create art, write, and participate in both art and games (which will earn you the world's currency, Sugar Cubes, and/or items!)
The lore of Sugarlops is ever expanding and will continue to be with the help of the community.
Common terms and their meanings
ARPG: Art Role-Playing Game, a community built around role playing and art. Initially very popular in communities on DeviantArt. These games often involve creating art in order to advance goals or character creations. ARPGs encourage players to advance their character's lore and get creative.
CS: Closed-Species, a fantasy species with a set of guidelines. The owner or team involved in the CS often are the only ones who can approve creations of characters made for the species in order to be considered official.
MYO: Make Your Own. MYO slots are often given/sold to those who want to make a character for a CS or ARPG.
FTO: First Time Owning. Sometimes characters will be sold or freely raffled, etc, to those who haven't owned a character belonging to a specific species before.
Trait: Traits refer to a part of a character in a species that can be modified to differ from the basic/core character in a species. Traits can typically be purchased, or can be a free add-on.
Adopts/Adoptables: Adoptables are character designs that are sold to those who are interested in owning that design. CS usually have Guest Artists (as is the case for this ARPG) who are allowed to sell adoptables of that species to the community.
Currency/World Currency: Currency in ARPGs are earned through participating in the world! This is done usually through drawing or writing. In the case for Sugarlops, you earn Sugar Cubes through drawing, writing, and participating in prompts. You can also earn items and currency through things like Dailies.
Daily/Dailies: A term that typically means daily activities you can participate in, commonly to earn currency or items. They are usually done with the simple click of a button and are most often times free to do.
How to get a Sugarlop?
You can get a Sugarlop in different ways!
- Earning Sugar Cubes (the world's currency) through drawing/writing and participating in prompts, and then purchasing a Dream Bubble MYO slot at the Dream Bakery shop!
